I know I’m a little late to the game, but I’ve decided to start attending more beer festivals. I’ve been to a few over the years, but there are so many more I want to check out. I’d also like to host one someday, and I plan to cover a few as media. With that in mind, I’ve set this year as my first multi-festival year, with three events circled on my calendar. I missed the first one, but I still have two left. While I’m not entirely sure if I’ll make it to the remaining ones due to scheduling, I will definitely try and I’m excited about them. Now, let’s talk about the events I have circled.
Dauphin Street Beer Festival
The first one is in Mobile, Alabama. I frequent Mobile, and if you’re ever there looking for some good beer, my favorite breweries are Braided River and Winged Man Brewery. Stop by and tell them Sonnie sent you. They won’t know who I am, but it could be a great conversation starter. Back to the topic—The Dauphin Street Beer Festival is a one-day event taking place on October 5th, 2024. I’m looking forward to this one because Mobile is one of those cities that’s just cool, and the people there really know how to vibe.
The Great American Beer Festival
This festival takes place in Denver, Colorado. I actually went for the first time last year. It’s a three-day event, and during my first visit, I managed to attend two of the days. However, this time, I’m aiming to experience all three days. Last year, I left without trying some of the beers, but this year, I’ll be wearing some belt-less pants with the intent to add some bloat to this belly. The festival will take place from October 10th to 12th.
