NBA 2k has released the cover athletes for their 2026 installment of the game and I am crazy excited about the the choices they made. Let’s break this down.
The original Cover goes to the NBA MVP and NBA Champ Shai Gilgeous- Alexander and he deserves it. That dude had a hell of a year and we all should be happy for him.
Next up is the the WNBA Edition and the cover went to the Queen of Double Doubles. I am ok with the opinions on Angel Reese, but the hate she receives is unnecessary. The kid is a baller and I am so happy they put her on the cover of the game.
Next up is the Superstar edition and that goes to one of my personal favorite players ever – Carmelo Anthony. All I can say is anything that Melo gets, he deserves.
