Today, I am raising the best glass of cold-brewed tea and taking a sip of it for CM PUNK. Why, you ask? Well, today 2K announced CM Punk as the cover star for the new game, WWE 2K26, and honestly, that’s pretty dope.
Just think of his story and how we got here: 10 years away, he goes back to the WWE, gets gold, and is now the cover athlete of the game. If that isn’t deserving of a “cheers,” then what is?
Roman Reigns had the cover last year. This year, the current champ takes over. Love him or hate him, CM Punk being the face of the game is a moment, and it’s going to get people talking. Seeing Punk do things his way is a personal enjoyment to see. Honestly, seeing him on the cover feels earned.
