Beer & Body Slams: If Your Favorite Wrestlers Were Brews (Wrestling Edition)
What’s up, everyone? I’m Sonnie Inkstar, and today we’re diving into a question I’ve been kicking around lately: If your favorite wrestler was a brew, which brew would they be?
At I Drink Brew, we’re all about the perfect pairing. Today, I’m breaking down three of the biggest names in the ring and matching them with the craft beer styles that fit their energy, their lineage, and their bite.
Let’s get into it.

1. Bayley: The Hazy IPA
I’m starting with Bayley because she’s one of my personal favorites. If Bayley were a beer, she would 100% be a Hazy IPA.
Hear me out: A true Hazy IPA is beautiful to look at—it’s bright, vibrant, and inviting. When Bayley walks down to that ring, she’s all smiles, bubbly energy, and charisma. But here’s the thing about a Hazy—once you take that first sip, you’re often surprised by how much “bite” and hop complexity is actually hidden in that juice.
That is Bayley in a nutshell. She might look friendly, but once the bell rings, she’s filled with aggression and a technical bite that catches you off guard.
2. Bron Breakker: The Double IPA (DIPA)
Next up, we’ve got Bron Breakker. There is no question here—Bron is a Double IPA.
We’re talking about a brew that’s sitting at a 10%+ ABV. It’s all punch, no filler. Just like the IPA lineage is one of the most solid foundations in craft beer, Bron’s wrestling lineage is legendary and on point.
Think about it: One “triple-hopped” Double IPA and you’re flat on your back. That’s the exact same effect as taking a spear from Bron. He’s high-intensity, high-impact, and definitely top-tier.
3. Rhea Ripley: The Imperial Stout
The third pick for today is “Mami” herself, Rhea Ripley. Rhea would undoubtedly be an Imperial Stout.
Why? Because an Imperial Stout is dark, intense, powerful, and—most importantly—unforgettable. Whether you’re a seasoned beer connoisseur or a casual drinker, once you have a heavy stout, you remember it.
Rhea has that same no-nonsense, powerhouse persona. She dominates the room the same way a complex, 12% Stout dominates your palate. It’s bold, it’s heavy-hitting, and it’s a total classic.
What’s Your Pairing?
This is a new series I’m trying out called “If You Were a Brew.” I want to know what you think! Does the Hazy IPA fit Bayley, or do you see her as something else?
