I have been finding ways to merge the things that I love and lately I have combined my love for beer with my love for Hockey. With that, I set a goal of going to a hockey game in every arena and trying a local beer at the game. Since I am not lucky enough to live in a city that has hockey that means that I will have to do some traveling to get this mission done.
I actually had a chance to do a practice run in a familiar place. Next year I will be starting the season where I ended it and that is in the home of my favorite team the Colorado Avalanche. I took a trip to Denver Colorado to see what local beer they had in the fridge and here’s what I ended up getting and my thoughts on it.
I ended up getting the Denver Nuggets beer from Breckenridge brewery. The beer is a limited-edition light ale and to be honest it’s just a beer. It’s good, crisp and clean but still just a beer. As for the game, my Colorado Avalanche lost 7-0 but I had fun and got to try a new beer.
