Walking Stick Brewing In Houston Tx- My New Brewery Crush

I think I have a new crush, and its name is Walking Stick Brewing. This brewery is located in Houston, TX. The Heights area, to be exact. I try not to post about the places I frequent because I don’t want the stalkers chasing ya boy, but I really feel like this spot is something everyone should get to enjoy.

Let’s get into the grades:

The Vibe – This place definitely passes the vibe test, especially for me. It’s a calm brewery with a family feel. It almost feels like everyone there are old co workers or as if everyone has cross paths before. There’s an indoor seating area with AC, plus two outdoor seating areas one in the front and one in the back of the brewery.

The Bartenders – I’m going to be honest: I’ve been a few times, and they were probably understaffed. But even with 20 people in line and only one person serving beers behind the bar, they kept a smile on their face, stayed patient with us beer drinkers wanting to sample multiple brews, and still got the line down pretty fast. They may be in the running for my favorite brewery staff. Honestly, I never thought about having a “favorite brewery staff” until I started writing this. I may need to make that a new segment hmm.

The Brew – Listen, these folks have a wall full of beers to choose from. They’ve got flavored ice cubes, and they even serve wine. When it comes to beer, I feel like they have a style for everyone. So if you’re a veteran beer drinker, you can try something new. And if you’re new to beer, you can grab a flight and find something you like.

My goal is to highlight a few dope breweries, so if you’re in the H and doing some brewery hopping, make sure to add this one to your list.
