📍 The Color Guide: What the Map Pins Mean
Find exactly what you’re craving at a glance. We use a simple color-coding system for our map pins:
🟢 Green Pins: Specialty Coffee Shops
🟡 Gold Pins: Breweries
🟣 Purple Pins: Tea Houses
🏆 Glowing Gold Trophy: You’ve been here! Once you stamp a location in your Passport, the pin transforms into a glowing trophy so you can see your conquest of the city.
🛂 Your Digital Passport
This is your personal, interactive souvenir of the New Orleans brew scene!
Stamp It: Click any pin on the map or any card in the Directory below. Tap “Stamp Passport” to record your visit.
Rate & Review: A window will pop up where you can leave an optional 1-5 star rating and a quick note (e.g., “Best matcha in the Quarter” or “Great hazy IPA”). Click “Confirm Stamp” to trigger the massive VISITED! animation.
Undo a Mistake: Accidentally stamped the wrong spot? No worries. Just click “Undo” on the card or hit the little trash can icon inside your Passport to remove it.
Rank Up: Start as a 🌱 Rookie and watch your progress bar grow! As you collect more stamps, you’ll level up to Tourist, Regular, Connoisseur, and finally the legendary NOLA Brewmaster (all 52 spots).
View & Sync Your Ticket: Click the big purple “Digital Passport” button to view your vintage streetcar-style ticket. If you upgrade your phone, just click “Sync Device” at the bottom to copy a secure link that transfers your data to your new screen.

See a spot you definitely want to check out this weekend?
Save for Later: Click the “Wishlist” button on any location to save it.
Filter your Favorites: Under the “Vibe Check” section, click the yellow ⭐ Wishlist button. The map and the directory will instantly hide everything else and only show your saved spots.
🗺️ The Crawl Route Builder
Planning a weekend brew crawl or a coffee-shop-hopping day?
Add Stops: Click “Crawl” on any location to add it to your custom itinerary (up to 10 stops).
Generate Route: Click the “My Crawl” button near the top right of the map to review your stops. When you’re ready to hit the road, tap “Generate Route”—it will instantly open Google Maps with a fully optimized, multi-stop navigation path!
🎛️ Finding Your Vibe
The Vibe Check: Need a place to get some work done? Got the kids or the dog with you? Use the Vibe Check buttons (like ☀️ Patio, 📚 Study Session, ❄️ A/C) to instantly filter the map and the directory.
Search & Sort: Use the drop-downs to search exclusively by Neighborhood (like the French Quarter or Irish Channel) or by Brew Type.
The Directory: Don’t feel like using the map? Just scroll down! Every single spot is listed in a beautiful, easy-to-read feed right below the map.
🧭 Pro-Tools
Find Me: Click the “Find Me” button to use your device’s GPS. The map will drop a blue dot at your location and instantly tell you how many miles (and minutes walking!) you are from every single spot.
Recenter Map: If you scroll too far into the swamps and get lost, just click the Recenter button (the arrows icon) on the right side of the map to snap perfectly back into place.
Dark Mode: Click the “Theme” moon icon at the bottom of the filter menu to toggle a sleek, dark aesthetic.
